Processing Robust and Easy to Use
The Milpro crumblers are specifically designed to grind pellets into particles of homogeneous particle size while minimizing the production of fines. The gap between the rollers is adjusted using a single handwheel, which mechanically drives screw jacks to ensure precise parallelism. This mechanism can also be controlled by an electric actuator for added flexibility. Pneumatic double-acting cylinders, equipped with regulator valves and relief valves, apply constant pressure on the rollers, temporarily releasing it when an oversized piece passes through. The product is fed at the center of the rollers to ensure uniform flow. When required, one of the rollers can be moved away using cylinders to allow internal bypassing of the device.
